Are you ready to start your journey?
Good faith estimate: It is important that you are provided with services that are financially transparent. A Good Faith Estimate states that providers need to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for psychotherapy and other medical services. You have the right to know the total expected cost of psychotherapy. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or any time during treatment. Please do not let finances stop you from receiving the support you deserve. In order to challenge the impacts of systemic oppression, I believe in the Equitable pricing model and use it in my practice. We will collaborate on what is financially and psychologically accessible for you in therapy.
I hope for therapy to be a space for exploration, insight, and healing. I studied Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Global Practice; giving me a perspective that looks at the individual, the communities of influence, and broader systems impacting a person’s life.
In my over ten years of experience, I focused on working with adults who experienced trauma, specifically: Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Complex Post-traumatic Stress, and unhoused families with additional passion areas of Racial and ethnic identity exploration, self-compassion work, intergenerational trauma especially for people identifying as "BI&POC", and Vicarious Trauma support for mental health and social service providers.
I believe in bringing the whole self to therapy and that healing is about the process. We are all constantly navigating this world and how we resource ourselves may shift across different points in our lifetime. When we explore together, I use an integrative therapy approach because when dealing with the complexity of being human and the issues that arise, a single therapy approach does not address the whole self.
